Epidemics have brought people's busy lives to a standstill. Adversity has fostered continuous adaptation to daily situations and changing times among the populace. The capital, Dhaka, has lost its familiar form. A bustling city has paused, but the epidemic has gradually eased, and working people have resumed their activities in this capital city. The hustle and bustle of life have returned to this busy city. The diaries of this city are scattered with maps of the concrete grid.
I sense the environment and time around me, along with the shifting surroundings. My storytelling process is based on my own experiences. This crisis, with its unique situations and the diverse design lines of urban houses, as well as the journey of life flowing through them, has stirred me. I have attempted to present this city, covered with cement and chemicals, using organic materials. I prepare organic handmade paper and pigment with natural ingredients. My ongoing city diary is presented with the hope that, perhaps, nature will once again embrace what this city once held.
