Travel memories remain treasures at different times of our lives. From that pursuit, I've presented my travel experiences in the language of visual arts. Through this installation art, I aimed to highlight how I had the opportunity to observe not only the people, culture, and places around me but also myself.
My journey from my birthplace, Jhenaidah, to Dhaka-Kolkata-Benares-Ladakh was marked by intense heat, so I used the color blue through cyanotype to reflect the sun, representing the weather of that time. I depicted people I encountered during my travels on the collected tickets I used. Additionally, the travel companion sketchbook helped me capture memories as visual references. In the overall presentation, I've endeavored to offer a new narrative of travel, exploring notions of place, environment, time, connection with memory, and experience.
